There are different models of chargers available. The TIMER CONTROLLED CHARGERS for nickel cadmium batteries and the AUTOMATIC CHARGER for Nickel Cadmium and Nickel Metal Hydrid batteries.
THE AUTOMATIC CHARGERS
The PLUG-IN CHARGERS ACS410i and ACS712 are designed to charge NiCad and NiMh batteries.
AQUA-LUX and DIVELITE lamps with 6 or 12V battery will be supplied with the plug-in charger ACS410i.
The plug-in charger ACS410i is designed for AC current 230V input and recharges with a charging current of 700mAh. The charger has additional a safety timer, a built-in discharger and the -∆V cut-off. When the battery is charged, the charger switches automatically to pulsed trickle charge. Please find further information in the Tech-Talk.
|AUTOMATIC CHARGER SPECIFICATION|
The Universal-Charger 514 is designed to charge NiCad-batteries in
the range between 6V - 14V. Before recharge, the charging time and the
charging current must be preselected, either 6 or 10 hours and 600mAh or 1Ah
charging current. Depending on the correct combination of time and charging
current, it is possible to charge batteries timercontrolled with a capacity
between 2,5Ah and 8Ah.
The chargers are for 115/230V AC current. On the back side of the charger there is a 24V DC input for using the charger in a car or on a boat. After the charging time has finished, the charger switches from normal charge to trickle charge.
The Universal-Charger 530 is designed to charge NiCad-batteries in the range between 6V - 30V. Before recharge, the charging current must be preselected, either 500mAh or 700mAh charging current. The charging time is 13 hours. After the charging time has finished, the charger switches from normal charge to trickle charge.
The Turbo Charger TC10 is a full automatic microprocessor controlled Quick
Charger to recharge NiCad-batteries up to 24V nominal voltage. The charging
current is 8Ah up to 11 cells (13,2V) and 4Ah up to 20 cells (24V). The charger
has an automatic default check, automatic
-∆V cut-off and trickle charge. The
charger works with 230V AC current input.
The advantage is the quick recharge time (a 8Ah battery is charged within 150 min.). It is not important to know the status of charge of the battery. There will be a cut-off at 100% recharge.
